Hi there! I’m Lloyd – musician, banding enthusiast, and proud founder of Musicwear etc, the brand that brings style and practicality to the stage (and
beyond!).

My love affair with music began at the tender age of four, with nothing more than a mouthpiece and a watering can – a humble beginning, but one that
sparked a lifelong passion (and some would say, a very unique sound!). Fast forward a few decades and I’ve had the privilege of playing with legendary
names in brass banding – Brighouse & Rastrick, Coty, Grimethorpe Colliery, GUS, and for the past 20 years, my musical home: the Desford Colliery Band.

While running my workwear and embroidery company, Your Logo Here, I couldn’t help but notice just how expensive band uniforms and banners were
becoming. And so, in 2012, Musicwear etc. was born – out of a genuine desire to offer high-quality, affordable, and customisable stagewear and
accessories for fellow musicians and bands across the UK and beyond.

Our journey has been incredible – growing from a one-man-band (literally!) to a dedicated team of music-loving creatives who actually get it.
